Forty two four to five year old graduated in Ngarange this year. They are ready for Pre School. Teachers did an outstanding job this year having taught these little ones in English. Children can count to 20, Speak their alphabet, days of the week, months of the year, colours and shapes and general conversation. It was an impressive time at the graduation for parents as their children displayed their skills to the community. We always miss them when they graduate. All the girls received dresses made by Joan Wilson from Australia and all the boys received a tshirt collected by Hilary Hillcombe of Australia. After three years of being at our centre and caring for them on a daily basis you grow very fond of each and every one of them. Well done Kindy Class 2018. Sadly heavy winds came through Ngarange two weeks ago and destroyed our fencing, knocked over our kitchen and store room, damaged all our garden, ripped all the shade net. The rain seeped in through one of our rented rooms and destroyed many clothes and stored items for our children. The positive is no one was hurt. Our staff are doing their best to rebuild. |
